What can you expect from a We Have Voices group?​
​
It's all about making YOU feel good. There are no auditions, no solos, no reading music. Just simple songs taught by ear. Your leader will sing the songs line by line and the group will echo it back, until everyone knows it off by heart. (Then we might add a harmony or two!). We always make time for a cuppa and some cake.

About Morven
Your Song Leader
Hi! I am a song leader and yoga teacher based in Kewstoke, Weston-super-Mare. I grew up playing music and singing, and worked as a music teacher through my twenties. I am always humming a tune wherever I go and I love to get people together to sing and share music. I believe that singing together in community is in our DNA and I hope that through singing circles we can bring back the oral tradition of sharing songs to ease our passage through all aspects of life.
My aim is not to create a choir - we don't practice and perform - our songs are simple, uplifting, soothing and joyful and we sing purely for the pleasure of creating harmony.
Singing boosts your endorphins, fosters community and connection and has been proven to help with low mood. Come and join us to experience it for yourself.
