Meet Morven
Dedicated to sharing the healing, transformative power of yoga
With two decades of yoga teaching experience, I have been practicing yoga since 1995 and teaching yoga since 2008. As a YAP-accredited senior yoga teacher and trainer, I have guided countless students through classes, workshops, retreats, and teacher training across the UK and internationally.
Previously an English, French and music teacher, I came to yoga teaching in my early thirties. I had started practising yoga at the age of 19 while a University student in Glasgow and immediately felt the benefits of feeling relaxed in a normally chaotic existence. I found that when I was doing yoga, I felt centred and sane.
Over a decade-long period, I turned to yoga daily and found that one by one, my issues with anxiety, depression and addiction dropped away. I am grateful every day to yoga and meditation for healing trauma that had made my everyday life hard. Now I am called to share that healing power with the world.

My approach is playful, creative, and meditative. I especially love sharing restorative, therapeutic practices and deep relaxation, because in these times, that's what the world needs most.
My teaching is non-dogmatic, inclusive, and accessible, encouraging students to explore yoga in a way that feels right for them. When people tell me "I'm not good at yoga" I always tell them that there's no such thing as being good at yoga. There's only your experience and that's always right.

I specialise in Mindful Hatha Yoga and Restorative Yoga, influenced by Scaravelli Yoga, Body-Mind Centering Somatics, and Anusara Yoga. I am trained in Yoga for Menopause and Yoga Therapy, supporting physical and mental flexibility and strength.
I founded Yoga by Nature in 2010 as a retreats business, and it has evolved into a thriving wellness hub offering weekly yoga classes, online and on-demand sessions, retreats across the UK and Europe and community singing circles..
Based in Weston-super-Mare, I welcome everyone—regardless of age, gender, background, or ability—to experience the benefits of yoga and community singing. If there’s anything I can do to make your experience more inclusive, I’d love to hear from you!
