Teachers' Connection Cafe: 17th November 7.30pm

Service Description

How do we find students and grow our teaching through conversations, local connections and word of mouth? Vicki and Rachael join us to share their experiences of working away from social media: what prompted their decisions, how they’re connecting with potential students, and what they’re discovering along the way. From coffee mornings to conversations with local venues, we’ll explore practical ways to become known in your community. There will also be space to discuss the impact of social media on our attention, creativity and wellbeing, and what making more room for personal connection might offer. Whether you’re considering stepping away, spending less time online or simply widening your approach to finding students, come along with your questions and experiences. No judgement about anyone’s choices, just an honest conversation about the different ways we can build a fulfilling teaching practice.
