An overview of the retreat

Reclaim your practice and reconnect with community

A yoga retreat for yoga teachers, practising or not. Anyone with 200 hr certification is most welcome!

When you teach yoga, time on your own mat can easily become time spent planning the next class. This retreat is an invitation to be a student again: to follow your curiosity, enjoy being guided and give your own practice the attention it deserves.

Join us at Holworthy Farm on the banks of Wimbleball Lake, in the heart of Exmoor, for time away with fellow yoga teachers. We’ll practise together, share meals and conversations, and enjoy the company of like-minded people.

Over the weekend you’ll enjoy:

  • Twice-daily yoga

  • Delicious vegetarian meals

  • Singing in circle, both in workshop and around the fire

  • Evening offerings such as yoga nidra, sound immersion or relaxed fire gatherings

Between sessions, there will be time for paddleboarding or swimming in the lake, walking in the surrounding countryside, or finding a comfortable spot with a book. Holworthy’s house and gardens offer room for both company and solitude, with organic, vegetarian, Ayurvedic-inspired meals prepared by our host, Gill.

Community is at the heart of this retreat. Whether you come with friends or arrive knowing nobody, there will be opportunities to exchange experiences, make connections and spend time together without any worries about where you need to be, or what to plan for yuour next class.

This retreat is intended as a chance to remember what draws you back to yoga, and to enjoy your own practice anew.

Holworthy Farm is approximately 1.5–2 hours from Bristol and 3.5–4 hours from London by car, depending on traffic. Car shares will be arranged for those who wish to join one.

If this retreat speaks to something in you, we’d love to share the space with you.
