Healing the Whole Person is a six-week, self-paced online yoga for cancer programme designed to support physical recovery, emotional wellbeing, and a gradual reconnection with the body.

 

This course is a resource for cancer patients in the days, weeks, months and years after diagnosis, whether you are in post-treatment recover or living with cancer.

You can move through the course in your own time, at home, with practices that are specifically adapted for the effects of cancer and its treatment.

What's inside the 6-Week Yoga for Cancer Course?

Over six sessions, the course aims to support:

How the course works

The course is delivered online and can be accessed at any time.

Each week includes guided Yoga for Cancer classes that you can return to as often as you need. Practices are designed to be straightforward to follow at home, with clear instruction and a range of options. You only pay once, then the course is yours for life.

No prior experience of yoga is required. Make sure you have the go-ahead from your medical caregiver before proceeding with the course.

This is not a performance-based approach to oncology yoga

The practices are designed to be:

Your teacher

Morven Hamilton is a senior yoga trainer, breast cancer survivor, and passionate advocate for yoga as a tool for healing. She’s been teaching since 2008 and now leads yoga teacher trainings and mentoring programmes across the South West UK. She is the creator and founder of the Teach Yoga for Cancer teacher training course for yoga teachers and health professionals.

Since 2011, Morven has specialised in teaching holistic, evidence-based yoga to people affected by cancer, working within cancer care settings as both a teacher and course facilitator at Penny Brohn Cancer care in Bristol and in her private practice.

 

Her work is grounded in compassion, experience, and a belief in yoga’s power to support people through life’s most challenging moments.
