Service Description
Thursdays 6 - 7pm April 30th - June 11th (no class on May 28th) There’s a way we’ve been taught to work with the bandhas (yogic energy seals)that often leads to more effort, more holding and less actual support. The Inner Weave is a 6-week exploration of the bandhas through a somatic lens. We do less gripping and more feeling, listening, and allowing support to emerge from within the body. Rather than isolating muscles or chasing a particular shape, we’ll explore the subtle relationships between breath, fascia, and nervous system. You’ll begin to sense how the pelvic floor, diaphragm, and throat are not separate “locks,” but part of a responsive, intelligent system that organises the body from the inside out. Through slow, experiential practice and guided inquiry, you’ll develop interoception and discover a kind of integrated support that doesn’t rely on gripping or force. At the end of this course you will feel: ✨ more stable, without rigidity ✨ more light, without collapse ✨ more skilled to attempt complex asana This is course for lazy people! (joking, but it's about changing your relationship to effort, support, and sensation—so your practice (and your teaching) becomes more intuitive, responsive, and easeful.) Designed for yoga teachers and experienced practitioners, this course invites you to step out of habit and into a deeper, more embodied understanding of the body’s inner weave.
