A friendly, welcoming environment for those who want to move gently. If you are joining us online, bring some props with you. You will need either a resistance band or loop, or a stretchy pair of tights or leggings. Bring a small massage ball if you have one, otherwise a tennis ball or dowel, or anything you can roll your foot on will do. In this 75 minute class, we dedicate 25 minutes to relaxation, gentle breath work and meditation. The movement part of the class takes you through a complete gentle yoga practice in all stations, including mat-based and standing poses. The focus is on improving joint health, gently strengthening and developing body awareness in a relaxing, supportive setting. Aimed at people in midlife and older, we take care of bone and muscle mass, balance and brain health. Adaptations and modifications are given for any limitations.
